• Chatbot Configuration Data: Website URLs, system prompts, customization colors, logos, and specific instruction text provided by Account Owners.
• Visitor Interaction Data: Transcripts of conversations generated by your visitors interacting with the NeloChat widget, including IP addresses, session IDs, and text inputs.

2. How We Use the Information

Your data is securely stored and used exclusively for the following purposes:

• To provide, maintain, and improve the core AI chat functionality.
• To process billing and maintain active subscription tiers.
• To provide organization owners with deep customer insights and conversation histories on their dashboard.
• To diagnose technical issues, analyze usage trends, and improve the user experience.

3. Third-Party Data Processing

NeloChat relies on select third-party services to function correctly:

• AI Processing: We use Google's Gemini models (via API) to process and generate responses. We do not use your proprietary chat logs to train external global AI models outside of your specific context.
• Payment Processing: We use Stripe to process all billing and subscription transactions securely. We do not store raw credit card numbers.

4. Data Retention

NeloChat retains conversation data and account information as long as it is necessary to provide our service to you. If an organization deletes a chatbot or their account, the associated conversation data and settings will be permanently removed from our active databases.

5. Website Visitor Privacy

If you are an organization owner embedding NeloChat on your website, you are responsible for updating your own Privacy Policy to inform your visitors that third-party AI technology (NeloChat) is being used to collect and process chat inputs.
